Program Profiles
Introduce programs / activities / projects already implemented which have promoted
intergenerational interaction. These submissions of 900-1400 words in length
should include the following information:
- Brief history as introduction (optional)
- Goals
- Participants
- Activities
- Benefits
- Lessons learned
- Any unique features
- Contact information
Reflections From the Field
These are critical reflections on specific topic/s of intergenerational relationships and practice. They could be based on personal experience in intergenerational relationships or statements from people participating in intergenerational programmes or otherwise involved in intergenerational research. These submissions of 900-1400 words should include:
- Background and rationale
- Explanation of relevance of the topic to the developing intergenerational field
- Discussion of relevance of the topic in a broader theoretical/conceptual context (as appropriate)
New Programs in the Field
These are concept papers about new program ideas or programs under development. This category will help to connect people interested in similar concepts or looking to develop new projects. Submissions under this category should be approximately 900-1400 words and include:
- Brief background
- Objectives and goals
- Proposed methodology for the program(s)
Photographs are most welcome as appropriate for all categories above. Please submit
all photos in JPEG format.
